Piedmont Newnan Hospital Replacement Facility
LEED Certification
Registered LEED Certified

Sustainable Features
The hospital was designed for LEED Certification in an effort to reduce future operational costs, provide a healthier working environment and reduce the overall environmental impact of the project. The hospital features a public mall/”Main Street” design concept. Designated green spaces and natural areas serve to organize the overall campus, in addition to providing restorative spaces for patients, visitors and staff. These ‘green belts’ are used to facilitate way-finding, extending from public parking to the lobby and along the public mall. The public mall simplifies access to many of the clinical services and destinations for patients and visitors such as radiology, laboratory, cardiopulmonary and respiratory therapy services. The site includes a four-acre fish pond.
