KBR Building Group announces the promotion of Anthony Harden to Senior Vice President, Preconstruction Services.  He is based in the company’s South Carolina regional office in Greenville.

Harden has more than 30 years of experience in the area of preconstruction — estimating, scheduling, value engineering, procurement, and design management. Harden has specific expertise in the industrial and institutional markets, with focus on the manufacturing/distribution, aerospace and education sectors.

During his 15 years with the company, Harden has been associated with a number of high-profile projects in the Southeast totaling over $1.0 billion in new construction. A significant percentage of this work was delivered using the design-build approach. Most recently, he led the preconstruction effort for the nationally acclaimed Boeing South Carolina 787 Final Assembly and Delivery facility in North Charleston. Other current and recent notable projects include award-winning facilities for Honda Aircraft Company, Gulfstream Aerospace, Triumph Aerostructures and Sysco Foods.

Harden earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed professional engineer in South Carolina.
