KBR Building Group Big Winner in ENR Southeast's Best of 2012 Project Awards
August 23, 2012

Engineering News-Record (ENR) Southeast announced the results of its Best of 2012 Awards competition this week, and KBR Building Group had more winning projects than any other entrant!

This is a significant achievement considering that this year’s competition was expanded to six states — the usual foursome of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, plus Alabama and Tennessee.

Best Projects in the Southeast

The Boeing Company | South Carolina 787 Building Program, North Charleston, SC

Duke University Medical Center | Duke Cancer Center, Durham, NC

General Services Administration | New Federal Building and Courthouse, Tuscaloosa, AL

Medicago USA | Vaccine Research Production Facility and Greenhouse, Research Triangle Park, NC

Formal Recognition — These projects and the teams that built them will be formally recognized at the magazine’s annual Best Projects awards luncheon, to be held on November 15 in Orlando. In addition, each of these projects will be prominently featured in the November issue of ENR Southeast. An independent panel of judges reviewed more than 100 entries, choosing 26 projects across 16 separate categories as worthy of special recognition as a Best project.  Read full story in ENR Southeast.
