November 21, 2011

KBR Building Group was a big winner at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards Banquet held on November 17, 2011, at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina. Not only did KBR Building Group take home 4 Eagle Awards — the prestigious Award of Excellence — but two of our winning projects, Honda Aircraft Company’s Production Facility and Boeing South Carolina’s 787 Final Assembly Building, were finalists for Project of the Year! In addition, the Boeing project won the 2011 Free Enterprise Award for having largest number of ABC members working directly on project.

A total of 18 KBR Building Group employees, accompanied by six client guests, represented the company at this special evening event. Winning project team members were invited on stage to formally accept their respective awards.
