Matt Wood Joins KBR Building Group as Project Executive Focusing on Higher Ed and Healthcare in Virginia

The KBR Building Group announces that Matt Wood has joined the company as Project Executive. With a construction industry career spanning more than 20 years, Matt will further develop and expand the KBR Building Group's higher education and healthcare presence in the Virginia region, operating out of Charlottesville, which will serve as his base of operation.

"During the past two decades, Matt has successfully completed more than $600 million of higher education and healthcare facilities. Our current and future clients will most certainly benefit from his extensive knowledge and experience in leading teams on large and complex projects."

Matt is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree, as well as a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Construction Management Focus. Professional accomplishments include being a graduate of Leadership Charlottesville (Class of 2003), obtaining the ASHE Healthcare Contractor's Certificate and attending the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Leadership In Construction Workshop. Matt is active in the American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers (VSHE) and Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). He has shared his expertise as a speaker at several national ASHE conferences.
