July 28, 2015

BE&K Building Group has another project underway for Ferguson Enterprises, the nation’s largest wholesale plumbing distributor. This latest assignment is a 200,000-square-foot addition to the company’s Midwest regional distribution center in Celina, Ohio. BE&K Building Group built the original facility which is being expanded by nearly 70 percent.

Ferguson's Midwest distribution center specifically supports the company's branches and customers in seven surrounding states. It is Ferguson's first facility targeted for LEED certification. The building utilizes LED lighting, high-frequency chargers for equipment, motion sensors and incorporates other environmental friendly measures.

As Ferguson’s Midwest expansion kicks off, BE&K Building Group is nearing completion on a 460,000-square-foot regional distribution for Ferguson in Coxsackie, New York — near Albany. The company’s Northeast distribution center, expected to open later this summer, supports Ferguson’s Metro New York and Northeast branches. This building is also designed for LEED certification.

Ferguson’s has more than 10 regional distribution centers across the United States.
