KBR Building Group is growing its presence in the Carolinas and Georgia by adding a fully operational regional office in Charleston. KBR Building Group’s regional expansion is part of the company’s strategic plan to maintain and grow its recognition as one of the Southeast’s premier construction managers. Adding a full-service Charleston location positions the company for additional growth in advanced manufacturing, commercial mixed-use, commercial office, healthcare, higher education and other viable markets.

"We have provided construction services on the Boeing South Carolina campus in North Charleston for more than 10 years — and have been building award-winning projects in this region for nearly 50 years. We are now taking advantage of our strong reputation by enhancing our commitment to the Coastal region,” said KBR Building Group President Mac Carpenter. “The steady increase we have seen in business opportunities in the Charleston metro area was a key factor in our decision. Establishing a formal presence in Charleston is a significant step in our plan to expand our overall business on a regional level.”

KBR Building Group’s Charleston operation is led by Vice President Kenny Anderson. The Charleston office will service the entire Carolinas Coastal region, including nearby Savannah. “We see a local presence in the Charleston area as an important step toward ensuring we are well positioned to be a significant participant in the Coastal region’s long-term growth and success,” said Anderson.

KBR Building Group’s office is conveniently located in North Charleston near the Charleston International Airport.
