December 22, 2014

KBR Building Group employees company-wide volunteered their time and gave generously in November and December. Our team members made quite an impact while enjoying great camaraderie!

Greenville employees collected children's shoes, socks and toothbrushes for the "Christmas Shoes" non-profit, and collected toys for the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

In Research Triangle Park, employees volunteered at the Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen, coordinated a food drive for the Durham Food Bank, and also collected toys for Toys for Tots.

Charleston employees volunteered their time and services at the Hope Lodge, a facility sponsored by the American Cancer Society that provides housing to cancer patients.

In Houston, employees collected canned goods for and volunteered at the Houston Food Bank. In addition, they adopted a family to provide meals for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and also collected toys for Toys for Tots.

Our Washington, D.C. office coordinated a food and coat drive. In Bethesda (Md.), the Element 28 and Hampden Row projects coordinated a Coat Drive for Kids. In Arlington (Va.), the Acadia at Metropolitan Park project team prepared emergency food kits.
