June 5, 2013

KBR Building Group has been named one of Washington’s Best Places to Work as announced last month at the Washington Business Journal’s 50 Best Places to Work awards celebration. KBR Building Group’s regional office located in Vienna, Virginia, is home to more than 65 employees and serves as the company’s center of excellence for the commercial/mixed-use sector.

Mike Sloan, executive vice president, accepted the award on behalf of the company as a group of nine colleagues cheered him on at the Best Places to Work luncheon held at the McLean Hilton in Tysons Corner (Va.). Petra Shonnard, LEED AP BD+C, assistant preconstruction manager, conveyed the office’s collective feeling of pride when she said, “It was a great feeling to be recognized by the Washington Business Journal. We already know KBR Building Group is one of the best places to work and I feel privileged to be a part of such a great company.”

KBR Building Group appears on Washington's 2013 Best Places to Work list under Medium–Sized Companies: (51-150 Employees). We are categorized as Business/Non-Local Headquarters.
