The BE&K Building Group is the proud recipient of a National Design-Build Award presented by the Design-Build Institute of America’s (DBIA). Randolph Hospital’s Outpatient and Cancer Center in Asheboro, North Carolina, won the Design-Build Excellence Award for Healthcare Facilities Under $25 Million. This project was submitted by our Charlotte office.

The Building Group’s design-build partner was BJAC, PA, the architect of record. The award was presented this fall during DBIA's 2010 National Design-Build Conference and Expo held in Las Vegas.

Preceding this national design-build awards competition, Randolph Hospital’s Outpatient and Cancer Center was honored by DBIA's Southeast Region as Best Project in the Private Sector Buildings “Over $15 million” category. The project was also a winner in the Excellence in Construction Awards Program sponsored by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas in the Healthcare Projects $10 to $25 Million Category, and was named Best Healthcare Project by Southeast Construction.
